Since 1997, companies such as Sunstar America, Dental Technology Consultants, Access To The Masters, Patient News Publishing, Denmat, Matsco Financial, Oramaax, Chase, Wells Fargo Health Advantage, McDonald Hopkins, Eastern Mountain Sports, VELscope, Practice Works, Loyal Patients, Inc. and others have teamed up with Climb for a Cause to make a difference in the lives of needy children while getting their products and messages out to the dental community and consumers.
Over Labor Day, 2008, a pioneering group of dentists and Sponsors attempted a one-day ascent and descent of Mt. Marcy to raise funds in support of the Climb For A Cause Dental Education and Treatment Projects in Cambodia and Guatemala. As a result of their combined efforts, DCFAC raised nearly $100,000: enough to fund both Projects for two years!
For 2009 we raise our sights higher with an eye toward expanding our reach even farther.
JOIN US LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2009 FOR THE TWELFTH ANNUAL CLIMB FOR A CAUSE EVENT. OUR OBJECTIVE FOR 2009 IS A ONE DAY ASCENT AND DESCENT OF YOSEMITE'S HALF DOME VIA THE FAMOUS CABLE ROUTE.
